How would you describe yourself?: I am a very patient, calm, and easygoing single father of two wonderful daughters.
How would you describe your ideal partner?: I’m actually not sure how I would describe my perfect partner as no one is perfect. I would enjoy intellectual conversations with her, cooking and baking with her, taking walks after dinner, and dancing with her around the house at the oddest times.
If you knew the world was going to end in 30 days, what would you do?: I’m pretty sure I would do what I could to make sure my loved ones were comfortable and at ease with the end of the world.
If you had 10 million dollars to spare, what would you do with it?: I would most likely donate a good amount to my community, start a charity to get any and all homeless families and individuals into proper housing, and probably adopt as many animals as they would let me.
How often, and from whom do you ask advice?: While I am usually the one being asked for advice, when I am in need of advice or just another prospective, I can always count on my parents for quality information and sometimes I will ask friends for their opinions and then make my own decisions.
What quality do you value most in the people of your gender?: The quality I admire most in my gender is the ability to be steadfast in their convictions and still remain compassionate. Of course, this applies to only a small portion of my gender, but those of us who practice this daily usually are few and far between.
What quality do you value most in the opposite sex?: The qualities I admire most in the opposite gender is their intelligence, tenacity, and drive.
What is a recent prominent event in your life, and how has it affected you?: One recent event was that my girls and I moved back home to Columbus, Ohio from Houston, Texas. The affect has been overwhelming joy and happiness just from being back with our friends and family.
What is the best advice that you give to your children?: The best advice that I give them daily is that life is not fair but that if they work hard, they can truly achieve most things they put their minds to.
What has produced the biggest impression (shock) on you?: As I am a retired military member, armed combat in different areas of the world have had the largest impacts on me.
The last books that you read?: I am currently rereading the entire series of ‘Dune’ novels written by Frank Herbert and his son Brian.
What are your goals now?: My goals now are to successfully guide my children through their formative years and find a real woman who they will want to emulate.
Whom do you admire?: My parents. They have been married for almost 50 years.
Do you have a lot of friends?: I do have quite a few friends. While most live at a distance, a good many of them live within 10-15 km.
What qualities do you dislike most in those of your gender?: Mostly I dislike the idiocy that seems to run rampant in most men and especially when they’re in large groups.
What qualities do you dislike most in the people of the opposite sex?: I dislike that it seems like no matter how good a man is to them, they seem to always be suspicious.
What would you like to change in yourself?: I would like to change my level of energy and activity. My level of motivation has drastically decreased as of late.

What are your strengths ?: My greatest strengths are in leadership, organization, baking, teaching life lessons to my girls.
How do friends view you?: I think you would most certainly have to ask them to get a better answer.
How do acquaintances view you?: I’m not really big on acquaintances. I think that if I do have any, that they would be able to say that I am kind and helpful.

Who are your favourite writers and poets?: I honestly cannot say who are my favorites as I love to read and absorb the writer’s intent.
What kinds of music do you like?: I enjoy jazz, classical, big band and swing from the 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s, classic rock, rhythm and blues, soul, and some popular music.
